The Wayne's BEST (Better Education Starts Today) Foundation is a private, nonprofit tax exempt organization dedicated to supporting the Wayne School District. The Foundation is separate and distinct from the Board of Education and operates exclusively for the benefit of our children, their parents and teachers.
It is the mission of the Foundation to provide an ongoing and centralized source of additional funds and resources to address the educational and facility needs of the students of Wayne. Our efforts will focus on working toward a level of excellence that is expected by the community.
As a result of providing these resources, the Foundation seeks to maintain and solidify the highest level of educational achievement at all grade levels. We strive for community-wide support and enthusiasm for our educational process in order to create opportunities to provide our students, teachers and staff with the necessary tools to reach their maximum potential.
